Hey, Bought a 970EVO and doing some pre-deployment testing of iEEE1667 encryption. AHCI mode is set in BIOS, Windows 7 installation went without any problems, and i have latest updatest of Win 7. Magician 6.1 is backward compatible with all Samsung consumer SSDs, from the 470 Series to the latest 970 EVO Plus.
